 It is not unusual to come across wildlife too: Chamois deer, bouquetin, buzzards and eagles. Waterfalls and rivers pop up all over the place, and the tranquility of the lakes allows time to relax.

A variety of walking and horse riding maps, leaflets and guide books are available at the tourist office.

For serious walkers there is a  'Carte de Randonnee' topographical, 1cm: 250m scale map available to purchase showing detailed information on paths, rivers, lakes and waterfalls for the whole area.
