We are on the main road (D213) through Les Houches, 1 hours drive from Geneva airport along the A40/E25 the autoroute Blanche.
-
British Airways and Easyjet both fly to Geneva, where you can pick up a hire car, use good value transfer service or catch a train to Les Houches.
-
The train station is a 10-15 minute walk from the apartment. The Swiss have an excellent rail network, the SBB, with major stations in Geneva and Zurich airports. However these do not provide easy access points to Chamonix. We advise a transfer by road, but if you prefer to use the train, cross Geneva to the Eaux-Vives rail station and take a French SNCF train to Annemasse or Roche-sur-Foron. Change here for Le Fayet/St. Gervais Les Bains. Change here onto the Mont Blanc Express to Les Houches.
Train journeys will take between 2 hours 45 minutes & 3 hours 15 minutes. Whereas a shuttle transfer by road takes about 1hr.
- Prices to travel with transfer companies have become very competitive over the years, and you can now find seats as cheap as 20€ on a shared minibus. www.alpybus.com www.cham-van.com www.chamexpress.com

The return train from Chamonix leaves at: 7:11, 8:11, 9:11, 10:11, 12:11, 13:11, 14:11, 16:11, 17:11, 18:11, 19:11, 20:11.
