For skiers & snowboarders in the winter; cyclists, climbers and walkers in the spring & summer; 'Le Duplex' offers fun sociable accommodation in the beautiful Alpine resort of La Chapelle d'Abondance, in the Portes du Soleil.
We are based at the foot of the Mont de Grange nature reserve and the River Dranse; only minutes walk to the local ski lifts, and to the centre of La Chapelle. Space is an unusual thing to find in alpine accommodation but 'Le Duplex' has lots of it with a floorspace of a large house - 300sqm. Large bedrooms and bathrooms give the accommodation a feeling of luxury. We sleep up to 14 people in two double/triple rooms, and a large family/group room. Guests can choose between bed and Breakfast or catered chalet option (4 nights a wk). Situated in a large penthouse suite on the top two floors of a chalet-style building, built in the 1970s, we have complimented this by combining original features with a more retro, contemporary approach to the interior design and to our choice of furniture and fittings. |
